You certainly won’t get bored at our campsite with all the activities we have planned for you and we’re certain you’ll appreciate them all. There’s entertainment for all ages, the swimming pool, sports areas, and the Family Park are some alternatives to the beach. As you may already have  learned, we think about everything: you are important to us and the holiday must be custom-made to suit your needs.

In this section we’ve laid out some excursions for you to explore our territory. Take advantage of our suggestions to organise day trips suitable for the whole family.

Senigallia

Did you know that the city of Senigallia inspired Fred Bongust to sing the famous song “Una rotunda sul mare”? You certainly can’t miss out on visiting the “Rotonda a Mare” located in Senigallia’s most elite area!
Senigallia has a very rich historical centre. Take a walk under the 126 arches of The Ercolani Colonnade, discover the history and secrets of the Rocca Fortress, and explore Roma Square, del Duca Square and Garibaldi Square and the elegant buildings that adorn the area.
Don’t forget to visit the Forum Annonario, a breathtaking square surrounded by 24 columns and a stage area which hosts many concerts and events.
If you love photography, then don’t miss out on the “Museum of Modern Art”, and the “Diocesan Gallery”. Discover some Roman ruins at the “Archeological Site La Fenice” with its collection of ancient objects.
A free shuttle bus service managed by our municipality will take you to Senigallia: the bus stop is right near the campsite.

Kids, there’s great stuff in stall for you too in Senigallia. Apart from taking long walks on the beach and splashing Mom and Dad, you can visit a real maze labyrinth! Yip, you understood well! It’s just like those you’ve seen in the cartoons you’ve sometimes seen. Try and find your way out of this natural labyrinth called “Hort’s Labyrinth”.
If you’re curious about agriculture, then don’t lose out on the educational tours you can find inside the “Mezzadria Museum”. You’ll find some interactive animated tours full of stories and legends.

Zoo in Falconara

The Falconara Zoo is only a 20 minute drive from the beaches of Senigallia where you can visit this prize-winning 60.000m2 natural environment that serves to protect animals – an educational tour where you can see amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds from the animal kingdom, right here on the Marche’s doorsteps.

Frassassi Caves

Frassassi Caves

A magical underground universe is waiting for you to be discovered just 50km from the campsite. If you’re a fan of “Lord of the Rings” then this is where you’ll feel faithful to the friends “Fellowship of the Ring” at Gimli’s home. Follow the underground routes and tunnels to admire the breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites, forming mysterious shapes and listen to distant echoes: an experience to live with the whole family.
You can choose between the tourist route or the adventure one to explore on your own.

Frassassi Adventure

You won’t find only caves in Frassassi. Your children (and you too!) can have some chilling fun at the adventure park while flying among trees and walking across suspension bridges suitable for young and old alike. There are five routes to explore at the Natural Regional Park Gola della Rossa e di Frassassi.

Take a day trip to Frassassi and visit unique and unusual places that you don’t want to miss out on. Near the caves you can visit the San Vittore alle Chiuse Abbey – an evocative religious structure – where inside a mysterious “upside down eight” is located somewhere…have fun finding it with the family!
If you have time, you must take an excursion to the Valadier Temple, which is built into the cave, right next to the Santa Maria Infra Saxa Hermitage: take in the beauty of this trail immersed in nature and enjoy the magical silence of one of the most beautiful places of the Marche.

Around Senigallia

Senigallia is surrounded by soft hills, enchanting villages and a very pretty sea city. By holidaying with us at Camping Blu Fantasy, you’ll have the opportunity of exploring the Marche territory described as “Best in Travel 2020” by Lonely Planet.
Start by visiting cities like Pesaro, Ancona and Fano, stopping off to do some shopping in the renowned historical centres of each city.
If you’re a lover of hillside territories, then don’t forget to visit Senigallia’s neighbouring villages of Mondavio, Morro d’Alba, Ostra Vetere, Ostra and Corinaldo where you can immerse yourself in the small wonders of Italian rural life.
Urbino is a small town where you can visit our local treasures of the “National Gallery of the Marche Region” located in the Ducal Palace of Urbino, the Cathedral with caves, and the birth-house of the famous High Renaissance painter Raphael.

Castelli di Arcevia

Castelli di Arcevia

Why not visit the “Castles of Arcevia” located right in the heart of the Marche countryside. This route consists of 9 little and somewhat Lilliputian villages, lost in time that you can visit in just one day. This group of towns date back to the thirteenth century and you can discover them from Arcevia, where they got their name from: Avacelli, Castiglioni, Caudino, Loretello, Montale, Nidastoe, Piticchio, Palazzo and San Pietro in Musio.

Loreto

You’ll find one of the most loved religious places just 40 minutes by car from the campsite. The village of Loreto is very unique – there’s a spectacular treasure right inside the basilica: the Holy House of Mary, the very same house where the Archangel Gabriel came to visit the Holy Virgin. It appears that the Angels carried the house on their wings from Nazareth to Loreto!
The small and mysterious image of the Black Madonna is preserved in a little niche, adorned by pilgrims from around the world.
The village of Loreto is a little jewel: you can’t miss out on walking through the little streets and visiting the “Papal Museum of the Holy House”, a fascinating labyrinth that takes you across centuries of art history.
